If you are looking to get connected at HOPE Church, then our HOPEgatherings are a great first step! These mid-sized community groups (8-35 people) meet weekly. Think of a small church experience within a large church community. Each group is unique, but the core experience is the same – spiritual growth in the context of community. Highly relational, Biblical, and a great way to connect with other sojourners of the faith. Check out the following HOPEgatherings:

Not a Fan (open to all adults): Twenty times in the New Testament, Jesus Christ issued a compelling and challenging invitation: “Follow Me.” Jesus is not interested in mere fans. Extreme Grandparenting: Grandparenthood is far more than rocking chairs. It is a second chance to do all of the “ought tos” and “should haves” that the busyness and demands of daily parenthood kept you from doing. It is living part of the idealistic dream of parenthood that real life, diapers, soccer practice, dance lessons, and waiting up for teenagers prevented you from doing. Grandparenthood allows you to play a key role in writing the history of a generation that you will some day leave in charge. Led by Bonnie Knight and Rose Allen on Sunday Mornings at 10:30am in the Adult Ministry Center starting on January 14th.
Work + Faith Educators Edition (open to all adults in who work in education including: teachers, professors, para professionals, school administrators, etc.):According to a recent LeTourneau University study only 30% of churched adults can clearly see how their work can serve God or a higher purpose, while more than 66% struggle to feel a connection between what they believe with what they do daily. This is a significant disconnect considering that the majority of our “awake” hours are spent pursuing various vocations. Work + Faith addresses this challenge through a 10-week, film-based experience that helps Christians connect faith with all of life; whether that be tending a garden, caring for children, swinging a hammer, or negotiating a business deal. Join us for Work + Faith beginning 6:30pm on Wednesday, January 17th in our Adult Ministry Center. Led by Pastor Steve Grosz and Pat Compton
The Forgotten God (open to all adults): In this dynamic companion to the book Forgotten God, breakthrough author Francis Chan reminds us of the true source of the church’s power—the Holy Spirit. Join Pastor Keith Wednesdays at 6:30pm in HOPE’s Upper Room starting on January 17th.

In this six-session video curriculum, bestselling author John Ortberg opens our eyes to the countless open doors God places before us every day, teaches us how to recognize them, and gives us the encouragement to step out in faith and embrace all of the extraordinary opportunities that await.
