Many people are suffering because of poverty, difficult circumstances in life and not knowing the hope they have in Jesus. Jesus has called us to serve our city and world by reflecting the love of God to them and showing them they are not forgotten.

In Luke 10:10 it says "the Son of Man came to seek and save the lost." We are here to focus on those who don't know the Lord and to assist in those agencies that also share the Gospel.

If you’d like to lend a hand in supporting any of these missionaries and ministries, you can give to Missions by giving to the general fund on the HOPE giving page and then typing “Missions” in the “Notes” bar.

SPONSORED MISSIONARIES

At HOPE, we partner with several different individual/family missionaries. We not only believe in supporting individuals and families who give their lives to sharing the gospel, but as a church, we are called to do so. Many of these missionaries and their monthly updates are featured during our third Sunday “Missions Moments”, in our weekly church newsletter and on our Missions Blog.

HOPEmissions is launching a program that will provide an opportunity to build relationship with one of our supported missionaries. Intentional relationship building will be done through various activities such as sending cards and/or letters, emails, video chats, hosting them if and when they come to the area and supporting them in prayer. If you, your group, your study/class or your family would like to participate in adopt-a-missionary, please click the link below.

LOCAL MInistries

We are passionate about serving our community and local regions. Whether it is collecting food and clothing, doing home projects for those in need or restoring hope to the hurting we can make a difference. Below are the local organizations we sponsor monthly.

GLOBAL MInistries

We want to encourage our local church body to reach the world for Christ globally through partnership, prayer and participation. Join us in our efforts to come alongside ministries that make a huge impact in countries around the world. Following Jesus’ example to show unconditional love is how beautiful things happen!

OUR ETHIOPIAN PARTNERSHIP

We are in a long term relationship with Fiche Mekane Yesus Church and learning from one another how to build the kingdom of God together. While we have engaged in funding projects such as the Washroom and Well project, we have also sent mission teams to encourage our friends. Consider joining us on a future mission trip to Fiche.

Compassion International exists as an advocate for children to release them from their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enable them to become responsible and fulfilled Christian adults. As a child sponsor, you can help to provide a child the resources they need to stay nourished both physically and spiritually.

cans4kids

Cans4Kids is a can recycling program that HOPE partners with that benefits short term missions. Anyone can bring their empty cans to our pick up location located behind The Rock. Once full, cans are taken to a recycling center where they are traded in for cash that goes toward HOPE’s short term missions, such as purchasing food or care items to be given to those who are served at the mission locations.

Our Congo Partnership

HOPE Church has partnered with Covenant Kids Congo and World Vision to share God’s love with children, their families, and their communities, empowering them to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice, and Jesus' love is at the center. Always.

In 2012, God began a new thing through a partnership between the Evangelical Covenant Church, World Vision, and the Covenant Church of Congo - and Covenant Kids Congo was formed. A story of hope for a bright future for the people of the Congo who want to keep their children healthy, in school and with opportunities for their dreams to come true is the hope that compels them. This partnership is already seeing sustainable community development changing the lives of thousands through clean water, education, health, agriculture, economic development and advocacy.

Poverty steals choices from kids. Through World Vision's child sponsorship program, we can give those choices back and empower a child to take hold of their future. Sign up to have a child choose you as their sponsor.

Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse, delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes.

The Paul Carlson Partnership works alongside the Covenant Church of Congo (also known as the CEUM) to catalyze the holistic growth of healthy families and communities in places of deep poverty. The mission of he CEUM is to reach the lost for Jesus Christ, believing in the holistic gospel to empower the community through education, health, and development. Thanks to this partnership, the CEUM consists of over 1.8 million members, 46 church regions, 5 hospitals, 75-120 clinics, 579 schools, and 5 development training centers in the northwest part of Congo.

Our mission is to serve more than just a great cup of coffee. The ministry of our coffee bar changes lives and spreads the love of Jesus in so many ways. We start with freshly ground, fair trade, organic beans from the Rising Hope Foundation (fighting human trafficking in the Brainerd, MN region), which is served by our fantastic Coffee Bar volunteer team. Each cup served helps raise funds that are then used to support short-term missions locally, nationally and internationally.

Everyone can make a difference, and every cup of coffee purchased through our Coffee Bar helps make an impact in the lives of others. If you love coffee or serving, we would love to have you join our mission!
