The Dare to Wonder campaign is an opportunity to live out that mission in a tangible way. This isn’t just about updating a building—it’s about creating a space where people can encounter God, grow in faith, and be equipped to serve.

Reimagining Our Spaces

  • Exterior updates

    Create a welcoming and inviting main entrance for HOPE Church and expand the design along the mall through HOPEful Beginnings to lift up the entire area and visually tie together HOPE spaces.

  • Coffee Shop / Playspace / Commons

    Create a coffee shop and adjacent kids' enclosed playspace where people will encounter the love of Jesus. A place for meetings, Bible studies, mom dates, ministry encounters, business, and more.

  • HOPEkidz Elementary & Preschool

    Create an exciting place where kids can't wait to go to church! Expand and better equip the current space to serve the growth of this ministry.

  • HOPEyouth

    Create a purpose-built space for youth that is fun, exciting, creates ownership, and better fulfills their ministry needs (freeing up adult classrooms).

  • HOPE Offices

    Create office spaces in one area to allow for greater team unity, accommodate a growing staff, and free up other areas for the proposed improvements.

FAQ’s

  • "It’s more than a building!" We are building for people. Most of us know that the right tool enhances our ability to do our work and makes the work more effective. The purpose of this building project is to help create a better tool for ministry—ministry to the people of HOPE and our community. This project will provide better ministry spaces for our children, our youth, our staff, and our community (evangelism) ministries.

  • As HOPE Church and the various ministries of HOPE continue to grow, the spaces that house those ministries need to be expanded and updated. The beauty of owning a mall is that we can do all our renovations within existing spaces. The Dare to Wonder campaign will allow us to financially update and optimize our facility, creating more functional and welcoming environments for children and youth ministries and increasing our fellowship and community outreach spaces. Renovations will help us better steward the resources we already have in a more effective way.

  • We hope to begin as soon as we are able. The projection is that construction will begin in the fall of 2025!

  • There are many ways to get involved! You can:

    • Pray (please) for the Dare to Wonder campaign and the Building Project.

    • Pray for the future ministries of HOPE Church.

    • Commit financially to Dare to Wonder by filling out a commitment card.

    • Volunteer your time and talents to support Dare to Wonder efforts.

  • Have you read about the story of the Widow’s Mite (Luke 21:1-4)? We believe that every gift matters! We are hoping and praying that everyone participates financially. “Equal sacrifice, but not equal gifts.” Here is what we encourage: Pray and ask God what He would like to do in and through you. Our prayer is that He will build our hearts more than He builds the building.

  • Yes! We are praying the tool, our facility, gets better and better! And of course, as we renovate spaces, we will adjust, move, and even relocate temporarily as needed. The ability to do this is another remarkable benefit of owning the mall. It will be inconvenient and exciting moving from space to space and watching the new spaces take shape. In the end, we are confident that the disruptions will have been a pleasure.

  • We will provide regular updates during services, on our website, and through email. You'll also see progress reports in our printed materials and social media posts. Once construction begins, the updates will be right before your eyes!

  • We are trusting God to provide through His people for our next steps. Currently, our goal is flexible. Wherever we end up with the Dare to Wonder campaign, we will adjust the scope of the project accordingly and/or consider contacting National Covenant Properties (our lending agency).
