Areas to Serve in HOPEyouth
GREETER Team
As a member of the Greeter Team, your job is to greet every student that walks through our doors during check-in to make them feel wanted and welcomed, connect new students with a small group leader and other students, and help maintain a safe environment by keeping track of students arriving and leaving HOPEyouth.
Times to serve: Sunday mornings or Wednesday evenings
Time commitment: ~1.75 hours/week (or bi-weekly)
Small Group Leader
As a Small Group Leader you will build relationships with a group of students and facilitate discussion each week in small group times. As this role is primarily relational, it includes regularly praying for the students in your group, taking an active interest in their extracurricular activities, and being a mentor/resource.
Times to serve: Wednesday evenings
Time commitment: ~3 hours/week
Tech Team
As a member of the Tech Team, you will be a part of using technical elements to craft an environment that helps students connect with God. From running sound or lights to advancing worship lyrics slides or designing/building sets, there are roles for varying levels of technical ability.
Times to serve: Wednesday evenings
Time commitment: 2 hours/month - 3 hours/week (depending on role and schedule)
Middle School Sunday School
As a Sunday school leader you will build relationships with middle school students. As this role is primarily relational, it includes regularly praying for the students, and being a mentor/resource. There are also opportunities to help be a part of teaching lessons.
Times to serve: Sunday mornings
Time commitment: ~3 hours/week

Background Check
Safety matters to us! For your and our students’ safety we background check every person over the age of 18 that will be working with HOPEyouth. After you fill out the Application (Step 2) we will email you a link to fill out a Background Check.

We want to get to know you better! HOPE’s Youth Director will contact you to set up a time to connect.
SHADOW & OBSERVE
Observe a night of youth ministry or a morning of middle school Sunday school while shadowing another leader.
